Rose Zhang, who is only a freshman studying at Stanford University, has recently been awarded 1st place in the NCAA Women’s: Division l Players, yet again.

This means a lot to her, but the fact that she was able to grind and just stay present and persistent to the very end, it’s cool.

Since the beginning of the 2022 tournament, Zhang had already made early birdies*, putting her in the right mindset to start and finish the game strong.

*birdies: scores of one under (-1) par

Like many of the spectators, her coach could see her determination to win the tournament; having put in the hard work even though it seems like it was an easy day.

This is Zhang's 4th win of the season, earning her the medalist honours. However, even so, she continues to stay humble, stating: "I definitely did not expect it".

In the final scoring, Zhang racked up an average of 69.37 points, just 0.86 points away from 2nd place Ingrid Lindblad. Not only did she reclaim her title as the No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf, but she was also offered to join the Adidas family.

We expect great things from this wonderful athlete as she continues to work hard and inspire a future generation of golfers.
